Aesthetics Club receives £250,000 investment from Investment Fund for Scotland, enabling expansion

The Aesthetics Club Secures £250,000 Loan for Expansion in Glasgow and Edinburgh

The Aesthetics Club, a Glasgow-based beauty treatments clinic, is making waves in the industry with its recent £250,000 loan secured from the Investment Fund for Scotland (IFS). This funding, facilitated by The FSE Group, will pave the way for the opening of two new clinics in Glasgow and Edinburgh, expanding services and creating job opportunities in the process.

Founded in 2018 by Fiona Ross, a registered nurse, The Aesthetics Club has quickly gained a strong reputation for excellence. With a remarkable over 100% increase in business across its existing Glasgow and London clinics since 2021, the clinic has attracted over 7,000 registered customers. Now, with the support of the IFS loan, The Aesthetics Club is set to further expand its footprint by opening new clinics in Glasgow South and Edinburgh, as well as exploring concession and brand partnership opportunities to broaden its reach.

Fiona Ross expressed her excitement about the investment, stating, “Our significant growth, loyal customer base, and high wait lists demonstrate the demand for our services. Securing funding based on future sales can be challenging for smaller businesses, so we are thrilled to have the support of FSE and the IFS.”

Jim Pritchard, investment manager at The FSE Group, highlighted the potential of The Aesthetics Club, noting the high customer satisfaction, strong brand identity, and limited competition in the market. He emphasized the solid projections that indicate ongoing profitability for the clinic and expressed enthusiasm for working with Fiona and her team as they pursue their growth goals.

Mark Sterritt, director of nations and regions funds at the British Business Bank, commended The Aesthetics Club’s impressive growth and its ability to capitalize on the demand for premium beauty treatments. He also highlighted the impact of the IFS in supporting smaller businesses across various sectors and emphasized the importance of supporting female-led businesses like The Aesthetics Club.

Overall, The Aesthetics Club’s expansion plans and success story serve as a testament to the thriving beauty industry in Scotland and the opportunities available for innovative businesses. With the support of the IFS loan and the dedication of its team, The Aesthetics Club is poised for continued growth and success in the years to come.
