Highland Council Leader Highlights Investment Potential at UKREiiF Event in Leeds

Bremner, along with Allan Maguire, the head of development & regeneration at Highland Council, highlighted various investment opportunities across Highland, including the Inverness and Cromarty Green Freeport, renewables, hydrogen, tourism, the space industry, and culture.
One of the key areas of focus was Caithness and Sutherland, Bremner’s home region, which already generates a significant amount of energy and has ambitious plans for expansion in the renewable energy sector. The region is set to become a hub for space exploration with the launch of vertical satellites from the Sutherland Space Port in 2024.
